ABOUT ABOUT

The KY Division of Compliance Assistance (DCA) and the Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center (KPPC) invite you to participate in an upcoming Sustainable Spirits workshop: Energizing Sustainable Growth. This workshop will demonstrate the principles of mapping a facility’s sustainable value stream and  process energy (electricity, steam, hot water). Participants will apply what they have learned in a guided exercise to begin to develop their own value stream and process energy maps. In addition, attendees will learn how to use their maps to identify opportunities for reduction in process energy and costs.  Also, attendees will learn about utilizing solar thermal technology as a sustainable, cost saving option for distilleries, wineries and breweries.

Topics that will be covered include:

  • Quantifying Process Energy
  • Sustainable Value Stream Mapping
  • Identifying Opportunities For Energy and Cost Reductions
  • Renewable Energy Options

Who should attend?

  • Facility managers and owners
  • Environmental, health and safety professionals
  • Representatives of the winery, distillery and brewery industries.

Space is limited...register today!

Lunch is not provided, but attendees are encouraged to try Goodwood's Galley. After the workshop, enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour provided by our host, as they share their hard work and unique efforts to treasure and preserve our environment.
