ABOUT ABOUT

Are you interested in becoming an environmental leader, but not sure how?

If you answered yes, then this behind the scenes experience in a KY State Nature Preserve is for you!

KY EXCEL and the Office of KY Nature Preserves invite you to join us for a interactive day of learning at Quiet Trails State Nature Preserve. Amongst the ridges and ravines above the Licking River, this preserve provides an excellent opportunity for visitors to come face to face with nature, participate in a survey for terrestrial mollusks and learn how to bring citizen science back home with you.

What to expect:

· Insight on citizen science opportunities and how to encourage citizens science in your community or facility

· Expert led 2 mile moderate level hike, discussion and activities

· Networking with potential partners for environmental and/or stewardship projects

Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!

A DRAFT AGENDA is available here.
